About the Design

About the design

A single stylised fish rendered in the tradition of Portuguese azulejo tiles, framed on all sides by a repeating cobalt tile border. Reads as one panel of art rather than a busy pattern.

Colour and visual composition

Deep cobalt and indigo on a soft off-white ground. The colour palette is intentionally limited to two blues plus cream, so the piece feels calm and coastal rather than loud.

Kitchen compatibility

A natural fit for coastal, Mediterranean, and blue-and-white kitchens — navy or sage cabinetry with warm wood counters, or crisp white cabinetry with brass hardware. Also works as a standalone tile-look feature in an otherwise neutral kitchen.

Size and Measuring

Measure the installation area carefully before ordering. Width and height must be entered separately. A small mistake in the entered dimensions produces a panel that fits the number you typed, not the wall you meant.

For a backsplash, measure the width between cabinets or cabinet returns and the height from the counter to the underside of your hood or upper cabinets. If you have no upper cabinets, 60 cm is the standard splash zone.
