Order with confidence.
We offer thirty-three standard sizes for every design, and if none quite fits your space, we'll happily produce a custom size to your exact measurements. A few quiet minutes with a tape measure now will save a remake later — here's how to get it right.
What you'll need
- A tape measure marked in centimetres (or millimetres — better)
- A pencil and any scrap of paper
- A spirit level, if you have one (helpful but not essential)

How to measure
Clear the wall first
Move kettles, knife blocks, the bread bin — anything in the way. Aim to see the bare wall behind the countertop, from one side to the other.
Measure the width at three heights
Once just above the countertop, once in the middle, and once near the top of where the panel will sit. Walls and cabinet runs are rarely perfectly square, so please use the SMALLEST of the three numbers as your width.
Measure the height the same way
Left side, middle, right side — and again, please use the smallest. If your cabinets overhang the countertop slightly, measure to the underside of the cabinets rather than the front edge.
Write it down twice and double-check
The most common error we see is a swapped width and height. Width is always the horizontal measurement. Please note it in this order: WIDTH × HEIGHT, in centimetres.
Standard size or custom?
We list 33 standard sizes per design, ranging from 15 × 15 cm accents up to 152 × 101 cm full-wall panels. If your space is within a centimetre or two of a listed size, pick that — it ships faster.
For anything else, choose a custom size on the product page (when available) or write to us. Custom sizes take roughly the same production time and cost is calculated from area.
Choose a standard size when
- You're within 2 cm of a listed size
- You want to ship as fast as possible
- You're hanging it as a wall piece, not fitted
Choose custom when
- You're fitting between two fixed objects
- Your wall is wider than 100 cm and you want one piece
- You want a non-rectangular cut (notch, corner)
Outlets, sockets, and cooker hoods
We're glad to drill round or square cutouts for plug sockets, switches, and cooker-hood mounting holes. To do this accurately, we'll need precise measurements of where each opening sits relative to the corners of your panel.
The easiest way is to send us a photograph of your wall with a tape measure laid across the bottom edge and another up the left edge. We'll mark up the panel from the photo and confirm every measurement with you before cutting.
A small note on timing:panels with custom cutouts add approximately ten days to our standard production time, as each opening is hand-cut and finished individually. We'll always confirm the expected dispatch date with you before we begin.
If you're not entirely sure of the measurements, you're very welcome to leave the cutouts out — most kitchens look beautiful with a clean glass face and the sockets sitting slightly proud.
Common kitchen scenarios
Behind a single cooker (60–70 cm wide)
76 × 51 cm or 76 × 61 cm. Sits centred on the cooker with a small reveal on each side.
Full backsplash along a run of countertop (120 cm)
One 120 × 76 cm panel, or two 61 × 76 cm panels meeting in the middle. One piece looks cleaner but is heavier to handle during installation.
Above-cabinet wall art (no cooking happening below)
Pick by visual proportion, not by countertop. 40 × 40, 61 × 61, or 76 × 76 cm work well as standalone pieces.
Between two fitted cabinets, no gap to spare
Custom size, with us subtracting 5 mm from each side. Write to us with the cabinet-to-cabinet measurement.
