The product
What's the glass made of?
4mm tempered safety glass — the same specification used for shower screens and balcony rails. It's heat-treated until it's five times stronger than ordinary glass, and if it ever does break it crumbles into small blunt pieces instead of jagged shards.Will the printed image fade?
The image is printed on the back of the glass with UV-cured inks specifically designed for sun exposure. You're looking at it through a layer of clear glass, so it's not in contact with steam, oils, or cleaning products. We haven't seen fading on pieces installed five years ago.How do I clean it?
A damp microfibre cloth. For greasy splatters, a drop of washing-up liquid is plenty. Don't use abrasive scrubbers or anything containing ammonia — both can dull the front surface over time.Is it heat-resistant enough for behind a hob?
Yes. Tempered glass is rated for direct heat exposure and is one of the most common materials used as a cooktop splashback across the United States and Europe.
Sizing & custom orders
How do I measure my space?
Measure width × height in centimetres at the actual surface — don't rely on the gap between cabinets being identical to your wall opening. If you're between two listed sizes, choose the smaller one; we can also cut to your exact measurement (see custom sizes below).Do you make custom sizes?
Yes. Most designs can be made in any rectangular size up to roughly 150 × 100 cm. Drop us a line with your exact dimensions and we'll quote you within a business day. Larger panels are also possible but ship in multiple pieces.Can I get a design I don't see on the site?
Often, yes — we've made custom florals, family-name monograms, and tile-pattern continuations for kitchens with unusual layouts. Write to us with what you have in mind.
Ordering & payment
How do I pay?
After you submit your order on the site, we email you a payment link. Right now we accept bank transfer, Wise, and PayPal — credit card payments through our website are coming soon.When do you charge me?
Only after you receive the payment link and confirm. You're not charged at checkout — the order is held until you pay.Can I change or cancel after ordering?
Until we cut the glass, yes — just reply to the order email. Once your panel is in production we can't change the dimensions, but we can usually still swap the design.
Shipping
How much does shipping cost?
Nothing. Shipping is free worldwide, no minimum order. The price you see on the product page is the price you pay (tax, where applicable, is added by local customs at delivery).Where do you ship?
Worldwide via FedEx, from our Florida studio. US and Canadian orders typically arrive within 3–7 business days; UK, EU, and rest-of-world orders within 7–10 business days.How is glass shipped without breaking?
Each panel is wrapped in foam, packed in a custom-cut wooden crate with corner protection, and labelled Fragile / This Side Up. We've shipped well over 500 pieces this way; breakage in transit is well under 1%.What if it does arrive broken?
Photograph the package and the damage, send us the photos within 48 hours of delivery, and we'll remake and reship the piece at no cost. See our Shipping & Returns page for details.
Installation
Can I install it myself?
Most people do. Our pieces install with either silicone adhesive (no holes) or stainless-steel stand-offs through factory-drilled holes. See the Installation guide for a step-by-step.Do I need to drill the wall?
Only if you choose the stand-off mounting style. Silicone-adhesive installation is no-drill — the panel bonds directly to a clean, flat wall.
Returns
Can I return it if I change my mind?
Because every piece is made to your specific size after you order, we can't accept change-of-mind returns. We do offer free remake-and-reship on anything that arrives damaged or differs from your order. Full policy on the Shipping & Returns page.
