Every Zaanvo backsplash is produced in our Florida studio to the measurements you give us. If none of our 33 standard sizes fits your kitchen, we'll cut a panel to your exact width and height. If your wall has outlets, switches, or a cooker-hood mount in the way, we'll cut around them too.
Any width and height

Outlet & hood cutouts
Round or square openings for plug sockets, switches, and cooker-hood mountings — hand-cut and finished individually.
Non-rectangular shapes
Notches around a windowsill, an angled corner, or a stepped cut around a cabinet. Send a sketch and we’ll confirm feasibility.
Custom sizes, explained
Every active design carries the same 33-size price matrix, from 15 × 15 cm accent panels up to 152 × 101 cm full-wall pieces. If your space is within a centimetre or two of a listed size, pick the standard size — it ships fastest.
For anything else, switch the size picker on the product page to Custom size and enter your width and height. You can also use the Custom Photo Backsplash builder to upload your own image and set a custom size in one flow.
How pricing works
- Custom price = nearest standard size's price + a flat surcharge for the extra cutting work
- The final total is shown on the product page before checkout
- No separate quote needed for a normal rectangular custom size
How timing works
- Custom sizes: 3–5 business days in production
- Panels with cutouts: add roughly 2–3 business days

Cutouts for outlets, switches, and cooker hoods
We're glad to drill round or square cutouts for plug sockets, light switches, and cooker-hood mounting holes. Cutouts have to be planned during production — once a panel is tempered, holes cannot be drilled through it — so please confirm your cutout plan with us before you order.
The easiest way to give us the measurements is a photograph of your wall with a tape measure laid across the bottom edge and another up the left edge. We'll mark up the panel from the photo and confirm every measurement with you before cutting.
Pricing: outlet, switch, and small round or square cutouts are typically an extra $30 per panel. Unusual openings, cooker-hood mounts, or non-rectangular cuts may be a little more — we'll confirm the exact price when you send your measurements.
Timing: panels with custom cutouts add roughly 2–3 business days to our standard production time, as each opening is hand-cut and finished individually.

Can Zaanvo make a backsplash to my exact size?
Yes. On any product page, switch the size picker to Custom size and enter the width and height you need. We produce every custom-size panel to your exact measurements in Groveland, Florida.
How much do custom sizes cost?
A custom size is priced from the nearest standard size in the same design plus a flat surcharge for the extra cutting work. The final total is shown on the product page before you add it to the cart — no separate quote needed for a normal rectangular custom size.
How long do custom sizes take to produce?
Custom-photo backsplashes are normally produced in 3–5 business days, then dispatched. Custom-size panels of an existing design follow the same timing. Panels with outlet openings or non-rectangular cuts add roughly 2–3 business days on top of that so we can hand-cut and finish each opening individually.
Do you cut around outlets, switches, and cooker hoods?
Yes. We can drill round or square openings for plug sockets, light switches, and cooker-hood mounting holes. Cutouts have to be planned during production — they cannot be added after the panel ships — so please reach us via the contact page with a sketch or annotated photo before you order and we'll confirm feasibility.

You are very welcome to leave the cutouts out — most kitchens look beautiful with a clean glass face and the sockets sitting slightly proud. You can always drill through the panel yourself later if you change your mind, though we recommend a professional glazier for that.
